Your Vision
I build custom instruments around the player, using proven body shapes and exceptional materials to make a personalized guitar that is truly yours.
Personalized
My custom guitars begin with well-known body shapes such as the 000, OM, OMC, Grand Auditorium, Chicago, D-14 fret and Jumbo. These familiar forms provide a proven foundation while leaving room to create an instrument tailored to you.
Because you work directly with me, the person building your guitar, I take the time to understand how you play, what you want from an instrument, and what matters most to you.
“The goal is not simply to build a custom guitar. The goal is to build your guitar.”
One-on-One
Together we can personalize the instrument with choices in body shape, scale length, neck dimensions, woods, voicing, appointments, electronics, hardware, finish, and other details.
This direct relationship allows me to offer options and recommendations that make your vision of a personalized instrument a reality.
And because you are working directly with the luthier rather than through the layers and overhead of a large factory custom shop, I can provide this level of individual attention at a price far less than a comparable factory custom-shop instrument.

Premium Tonewoods
I maintain a great selection of premium tonewoods so the materials themselves can become part of the creative process. The right wood is not simply the most exotic or expensive wood—it is the combination that best supports the sound, response, appearance, and personality you want from your instrument.
